‘‘എന്റെ പ്രേക്ഷകരോട് എല്ലാം പറയാൻ സമയമായിയെന്ന് തോന്നി. കേട്ടത് ശരിയാണ്, എനിക്ക് കാൻസറാണ്. ചിലർ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ദുബായിൽ വച്ചാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത് എന്നാണ്. എന്നാൽ സത്യം അതല്ല. 16 വർഷം മുമ്പ് എനിക്ക് 15 വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോഴാണ് സ്തനത്തിലെ മുഴ ആദ്യമായി ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെടുന്നത്. അന്ന് അതിന് നിറവ്യത്യാസം വന്നപ്പോഴും ഞാൻ കാര്യമാക്കിയില്ല, വീട്ടിലും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.
