പുതിയ സിനിമയുടെ തിരക്കഥയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ട് മാസമായി നടൻ ഷറഫുദ്ദീനെ ബന്ധപ്പെടാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണെന്നും ഫോൺ വിളിച്ചിട്ട് എടുക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നും ഒമർ ലുലു.
‘ഷറഫേ...ഞങ്ങൾ ഒന്നിച്ച 100 ദിവസം ഓടിയ ‘ഹാപ്പി വെഡ്ഡിങ്’ എന്ന സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം പത്ത് വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞു ഞാന്‍ ഷറഫുദ്ദീനുമായി വർക്ക് ചെയ്‌തിട്ട്. രണ്ട് പുതിയ പയ്യൻമാർ വന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ കഥ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, ഈ കഥാപാത്രം ഷറഫ് ചെയ്താൽ നന്നായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നി,അങ്ങനെ 6 വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം ഞാന്‍ ഷറഫിനെ വിളിച്ചു...

കഥയുടെ ഏകദേശം പകുതിയിലധികം എഴുത്ത് പൂർത്തിയായ സമയമായിരുന്നു. സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് വായിച്ചിട്ട് പറയാമെന്ന് ഷറഫ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ ബാക്കി എഴുത്തുമായി മുന്നോട്ടുപോയി. ഇതിനിടയ്ക്ക് ഒരു തവണ ഷറഫിനെ വിളിച്ചു കാണാൻ പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്തു. പക്ഷേ ഒന്നും കൂടി സ്ക്രിപ്പ്റ്റ് നന്നാക്കിയിട്ട് കാണാമെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ വിചാരിച്ചു..
പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പോൾ സ്ക്രിപ്പ്റ്റ് 80 ശതമാനം കഴിഞ്ഞു ഇനി അർട്ടിസ്റ്റിനെ കൺഫോം ചെയ്തു വേണം സ്ക്രിപ്പ്റ്റ് പൂർത്തീകരിക്കാൻ,എന്നാൽ ഷറഫ് വിളിച്ചാൽ ഫോൺ എടുക്കുന്നില്ല രണ്ട് മാസമായി!

2024ൽ റിലീസ് ആയ ‘ബാഡ് ബോയ്സ്’ എന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് ഒമർ അവസാനമായി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്.

Omar Lulu Struggles to Contact Sharafudheen for New Movie Script:
Sharafudheen is currently being sought after by director Omar Lulu for a new movie script over the last two months without any success in reaching him via phone. The director revealed this situation publicly, mentioning that he had not worked with the actor for a decade since their hit film Happy Wedding. Two new writers had approached Omar with a compelling story that he believed would suit the actor perfectly. After completing more than half of the script, the filmmaker contacted Sharafudheen, who initially agreed to listen to the narration. The script development has now reached eighty percent completion, requiring the confirmation of the lead artist to finalize the remaining portion. Frustrated by the lack of response, Omar humorously noted that while getting an appointment with the Prime Minister might be easier, he is only calling to narrate a story rather than invite him to a wedding. The director's last released film was Bad Boys in 2024, and he is eagerly waiting for a callback to proceed with his new project.
