അപകടത്തിൽനിന്ന് അദ്ഭുതകരമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ ആശ്വാസത്തിലാണ് പ്ലസ് വൺ വിദ്യാർഥിനി അനാമികയും ഡിഗ്രി വിദ്യാർഥിനി ജസ്നയും. വളാഞ്ചേരിയിൽനിന്ന് കുറ്റിപ്പുറത്തേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയിലായിരുന്നു ഇരുവരും. ബസിന്റെ മധ്യഭാഗത്ത്, പിന്നീട് ഡിവൈഡറിൽ ഇടിച്ച ഭാഗത്തോടു ചേർന്ന സീറ്റിലായിരുന്നു ഇരിപ്പ്. വളാഞ്ചേരി പിന്നിട്ടതിനു ശേഷം മഴ ശക്തമായതോടെ ജനലുകൾ അടച്ചിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
‘ബസ് പെട്ടെന്നു നിയന്ത്രണംവിട്ട് തെന്നിനീങ്ങി. അടുത്ത നിമിഷം വലിയ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു. ബസ് തലകീഴായി മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം എന്താണ് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്ന് ഓർമയില്ല. കണ്ണുതുറന്നപ്പോഴാണ് ആശുപത്രിയിലാണെന്നു മനസ്സിലായത്’. ഇരുവരും പറഞ്ഞു. അപകടത്തിന്റെ ഭീകരത നേരിൽ കണ്ടവർക്ക് ഇവർ ജീവനോടെ പുറത്തുവന്നത് അദ്ഭുതമായിരുന്നു. ശരീരമാസകലം വേദനയും ചെറിയ പരുക്കുകളും ഉണ്ടായെങ്കിലും ഇവർ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ ആശ്വാസത്തിലാണ് കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും.

ടോൾ പ്ലാസയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി ആംബുലൻസ്
അപകടത്തിൽ പരുക്കേറ്റവരുമായി കോട്ടയ്ക്കലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിലേക്കു പോകുകയായിരുന്ന ആംബുലൻസ് ടോൾ പ്ലാസയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയതായി പരാതി. രോഗികളുമായി ആദ്യമെത്തിയ ആംബുലൻസിന്റെ ഡ്രൈവർ, ഇനിയും ആംബുലൻസുകൾ വരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും അതിനായി ഒരു ട്രാക്ക് ഒഴിച്ചിടാനും ടോൾ പ്ലാസ ജീവനക്കാരോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും നടപടിയുണ്ടായില്ലെന്നാണ് ആക്ഷേപം. ആംബുലൻസിനു കടന്നുപോകാൻ ഇവിടെ പ്രത്യേകം ട്രാക്ക് ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടില്ല.

Students, Anamika (Plus One) and Jasna (Degree), miraculously survived a severe bus accident near Valanchery, Kerala. They were traveling from Valanchery to Kuttippuram when the bus, which they were seated in the middle section near where it later hit the divider, lost control due to heavy rain and overturned. The students, who had their windows closed due to the rain, recall the bus skidding and a loud crash before it flipped. They have no memory of what happened immediately after and woke up in the hospital with minor injuries and body aches, much to the relief of their families and friends. Meanwhile, an ambulance carrying accident victims to Kottakkal private hospitals was reportedly delayed at a toll plaza, with the driver's requests for a dedicated lane for incoming ambulances allegedly ignored, highlighting a lack of specific arrangements at the toll.
