Kalaranjini Shares Heartfelt Onam Memories and Family Reflection:

Kalaranjini reflects on cherished Onam memories, contrasting the joy of her childhood in Thiruvananthapuram with the challenges of celebrating during her busy film career. She fondly remembers her father's friends visiting and the simple pleasures of wearing a new veshti and playing. Her mother emphasized that Onam was celebrated when the family could gather together, with her mother always preparing the feast and buying new clothes. A particularly beautiful memory is a photograph taken during an Onam season featuring her, Urvashi, and their mother, alongside a film shot by Mohan. Sadly, Kalaranjini now finds herself with only Urvashi and their mother, deeply missing her father, Kalpana, and her brothers. The pain of losing Kalpana unexpectedly and her brothers Prince and Kamal, who was also a musician, is immense, often leading to tears when she's alone. She draws strength to suppress her emotions for her mother's sake, acknowledging these as moments where she must act in life.
