‘ദൈവം ഇന്നലെ ഇവർക്കൊപ്പമായിരുന്നു യാത്ര’, ചങ്ങനാശേരി റോഡരികിൽ നിർത്തിയ കാറിനു മുകളിലേക്ക് മരം കടപുഴകി വീണു. കാർ യാത്രക്കാരായ അച്ഛനും മക്കളും അദ്ഭുതകരമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. ഇന്നലെ വൈകിട്ട് 6നു വാഴൂർ റോഡിൽ കുരിശുംമൂടിനു സമീപമാണു സംഭവം.
നടയ്ക്കപ്പാടം സ്വദേശി ജോർജും നാലു മക്കളുമാണ് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. കടയിലേക്ക് എത്തിയ ജോർജ് റോഡരികിൽ കാർ നിർത്തി. പിന്നാലെ കൂറ്റൻ മരം കാറിനു മുകളിലേക്ക് വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. പിന്നിലെ സീറ്റിലായിരുന്നു കുട്ടികൾ. കാറിന്റെ പിൻഭാഗത്തു കൂടെയാണ് മരം വീണതെങ്കിലും കുട്ടികൾ അദ്ഭുതകരമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു.

വൈദ്യുതലൈനുകൾ കാറിനു മുകളിൽ പൊട്ടിവീണു. നാട്ടുകാരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ ജോർജും മക്കളും കാറിനു പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങി. പുതിയ കാറാണ് അപകടത്തിൽ തകർന്നത്. ചങ്ങനാശേരി അഗ്നിരക്ഷാസേന മരം മുറിച്ചുമാറ്റി.

Tree Falls on Car in Changanassery, Family Escapes Unhurt:
Changanassery tree falls on car, miraculously saving father and children. A father and his four children had a narrow escape when a large tree, uprooted by the wind, fell on their car on the Changanassery Vazhoor road. The incident occurred near Kurishummoodu on Monday evening. The tree crashed onto the rear of the car, where the children were seated, but fortunately, no one was injured. Electric wires also fell on the car. Locals helped them get out of the damaged vehicle, which was reportedly new. The Changanassery Fire Brigade removed the tree.
